Martin MonganFollowing a high-performing year where the business has grown market share in all channels, Bristan Group has announced the appointment of former Hansgrohe MD, Martin Mongan, as CEO.

Martin, who left Hansgrohe in February 2019 to join publishing company Mix Interiors, will return to the bathroom industry as head of the Bristan Group in February 2021.

He succeeds former CEO, Darius Padler, who left the business at the end of 2020. Darius said: “Martin is a well-known and well-liked industry character with a history of delivering exceptional sales growth in the businesses he has led. This is an exciting appointment for the Group.”

Martin has over 25 years of industry experience, having held senior roles at both Kohler Mira and Jacuzzi, before joining Hansgrohe in 2011. Among Martin’s achievements is the transformation of the Hansgrohe business into a leading brand within the showroom and specification channels, delivering exponential growth in terms of revenue and profit.

At Bristan Group, Martin aims to build on the company’s established reputation for ‘customer first’ to drive continued sales growth.

Ken Ellis, the Group’s Chief Financial Officer is acting as Interim CEO of the Bristan Group until Martin takes up his new position.

Bristan Group is owned by global homewares supplier, Masco, and is the parent company of the Bristan, Heritage and Cascade brands.
